The Ruby is also known as Manik or Manikya in India. It is fiery red in color. Since ages, it has been loved by Emperors and Empresses. Ruby can help its wearer to attain all around success and popularity. It brings fame and fortune from all corners if it is worn after propitiating the Sun God, and energizing it in an auspicious Muhurta by consulting a professional astrologer.
Many people believe, if ruby is placed underneath the pillow, it will stop one from having nightmares. Also keeping it in the pocket safeguards from enemies and evil eye. Professionally, it helps the wearer to have good relations with the authority (hierarchy) at work place, and attain high position. It enhances the thought process, and gives sound sleep.
People can wear the Ruby, when Sun is placed in an auspicious position in the Rashi Chart (Birth Chart), when the Dasha of Sun is in effect. Medically, it gives strength to the heart, and enhances the vitality, immunity, and tissue generation in the body along with protection from psychic attacks. It also helps in controlling inflammation, bleeding, plague, leukemia, and reduces the possibility of heart attack. However, it is always advised to consult a professional astrologer before wearing any gemstone, as they can also give negative effects under different circumstances.
