Complete Description: Gemini is one of the three airy signs of the zodiac. It covers the 60° to 90° path of the celestial longitude of 360°. The planet Mercury rules over Gemini. No planet gets exalted in Gemini, however, some learned Astrologers are of an opinion that Rahu gets exalted in this sign. It is a dual sign represented by the Male and Female but signifies Male qualities. It also represents the West direction. It is of Windy (Vata) temperament. Its Varan (Caste) is Shudra (Serving Class). It’s a Nocturnal sign which is strong at the night time. It has an average ascension. It signifies places where performing artist, dancers, singers reside. Places of sexual enjoyment, casinos are also represented by Gemini. It’s an Ubhayodaya sign.
